We had borded at midnight and slept well in our little cabin. I woke
up and peeped out our porthole and saw the Norwegain countryside
going by. I still couldn't believe I was there in Norway!

the Finnmarken (1956) is part of the museum.
This museum was free if we showed our cabin key.
The Hurtigruten ships are not cruise ships, but working ships
for transport and travel within Norway. However the dining was
exceptional, as well as the 7 floors of cabins and lounges.
You can see below how comfortable we were knitting and watching
the perfect scenery go by. By the way, Hurtigruten means Fast Route.
Our ship would stop at larger towns for 45 min or 1 hour and we could
run around, shop and see the many museums.
